KPA2 presents R.A.W. Talent Spring 2011 session February 15 – April 23. R.A.W. Talent which stands for Ready And Willing is for youth 5-18 who like to sing, dance, act, rap, write, make people laugh and entertain. The session will consist of dynamic HANDS-ON workshops on Tuesdays from 6-8P and Character Building, Challenges and Rehearsals on Saturdays 9A-1P in preparation for an intense 4 week TALENT COMPETITION that will take place on April 2, 9, 16 and 23 2P.

Please note that all Tuesday sessions and the first 6 weeks of Saturday sessions will take place at
Valley Kingdom Ministries International – East 1102 E. 154th Street, South Holland, IL.
All other sessions will take place at
Valley Kingdom Ministries International West 5217 W. 149th Street, Oak Forest, IL.
The KPA2 Spring 2011 R.AW. Talent Competition will take place at Valley Kingdom Ministries International – West located at 5217 W. 149th St, Oak Forest, IL, with preliminary rounds on Saturday, April 2, 9, and 16 at 2PM, and the final competition round on Saturday, April 23 at 2PM. Tickets are $5 for the preliminary rounds and $10 for the final round.
Youth ages 5-18 enrolled in the KPA2 Spring 2011 session will compete in predetermined groups. Acts will be scored by a panel of judges composed of local and regional representatives of education, business, and the entertainment industry in the preliminary rounds. The Finals will be determined by the accumulative scores of the judges and the audience present at the Finals where the top scoring acts will vie for first, second and third place trophies and prizes totaling at least $1,000.
Although the Talent Competition will be superb, it’s the process the participants go through and the fun they have that are the most important elements. The challenges and talent performances presented will be a distillation of the most beloved scenes and songs young artists can rehearse and perform.
